TR Productions has been one of New England's leading business communications companies since 1947, specializing in video presentations, business meetings, audio-visuals, collateral and web design, and multimedia. We're a small, collaborative organization which takes pride in our belief that the customer's message drives the communications process.

NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT / SALES:  VIDEO / WEB PRESENTATIONS

We seek to hire an experienced, self-motivated and creative person who enjoys the challenge of direct sales as well as the opportunity to help our customers use media to communicate their message.

Our new business development representative will take the lead to solicit and establish new relationships with large and medium sized companies in the Boston metropolitan area, and to continue to build these accounts.

This person will concentrate on selling our new and exciting service, iNetPresent. iNetPresent is a web page that consists of two primary elements: (1) a video clip of a presenter giving his/her speech, plus (2) the supporting graphics and slides relating to the talk. iNetPresent enables business presenters to give their presentations once to us, and then be available to their audience 24/7 without the need to make extensive travel arrangements. iNetPresent presentations can be produced for a number of purposes, including product marketing, corporate image, recruiting, training and investor relations. iNetPresent presentations can be produced and posted speedily; we believe that the new business rep can gain many new contacts in a short amount of time.

With iNetPresent customers as a base, the new business rep will also have the opportunity to sell other exciting advances in presentation technologies - including web-ready graphic presentations with photography, animation, music and narration that can exhibited anywhere - from a CD or a portable computer or streaming through the web.

The new business rep may also have the opportunity to help client companies produce traditional videos as well as business meetings that inform, motivate, and recognize employees. Our meeting services include the development of meeting themes, program content, video openers and closers, and presentation formats, along with the actual staging of general and breakout sessions.

The candidate for our new business development position must be comfortable in selling communications; it is not a position for someone who has experience and a desire, latent or otherwise, to be "in production." You should have a familiarity with the businesses and institutions of New England, as well as an understanding of the web and new media.

Candidates surely do not have to be conversant in large business corporate politics. We're collaborative, we're relaxed, and, as a small business, we're reliant upon the skills and competencies of our people. We're attempting to make some waves with a totally new media offering, representing the front edge of the assault that video will make on the internet.

Our customers range from small to medium to large sized businesses generally within Route 495. They are financial institutions, high-tech and emerging businesses, manufacturers, non-profit institutions, medical researchers, and any business with a message to convey. We usually work directly with the customer and not with their advertising agencies. One compelling aspect of the position is that the new business representative sees, across many different environments, the best of what's new and exciting in business and research. We have an outstanding portfolio of videos and multimedia to support the sales effort.

Please join us in our effort to convert static presenters into video stars. Salary will be strongly linked to results. We would be happy to consider the needs of individuals who desire a flexible hours arrangement.
